Our Family

Yes, we have triplets. No, they weren’t “planned.” About that: are triplets ever planned?? Anyway, we (meaning me, mostly) wanted a third baby, but instead of a third baby we ended up with a third, fourth, and fifth baby! That’s five kids currently five and under. Yes, it’s chaotic. Yes, it’s noisy. Yes, they all cry at once, sometimes. BUT…. I love it more than I can even say! I always wanted a big family, secretly. I don’t think I ever expressed that to Jason because it just didn’t seem like it was in the cards for us. Jason is nine years older than me and, by conventional standards, started having children pretty late in life. So, the idea that we would end up with five kids absolutely never crossed our minds! God’s plan for our life has been far better than anything we could have dreamed for ourselves. Watching these babies play together and then play and laugh with their older sisters is one of the greatest joys I’ll ever experience. As far as these blog posts go, I’ll leave the cow talk to Jason. Maybe I can entertain you with some family posts here and there, though. Things are definitely interesting around here with all of these kids!
